Eddie Lacy Backstabs The Packers & Signs With Seahawks

The Seahawks had a meeting with running back Eddie Lacy throughout the end of the week and it appears it went well.

Lacy’s agents reported on Twitter that their customer has consented to terms with the Seahawks on an agreement. There are no details about the terms of the arrangement.

Lacy also met with the Vikings throughout the end of the week was still conversing with the Packers about an arrival to the group that made him a second-round pick in 2013. Frilly kept running for 2,317 yards in his first two seasons, however poor molding and a lower leg damage prompted to less impressive results the last two years.

He’ll join Thomas Rawls and C.J. Prosise in the running back blend in Seattle. It’s a gathering that looks promising if everybody’s sound, except none of the three endured a full season last year.

Frilly was one of four running backs apparently scheduled for meetings with the Seahawks with Adrian Peterson, Latavius Murray and Jamaal Charles slated to visit after Lacy. Peterson took his meeting while Murray and Charles were scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. Murray has also visited with the Jaguars while the other two veterans haven’t been overpowered with interest on the open market.
